Concert by Vladislav Pesin (violin) and Alexey Goribol (piano)
On December 6, we'll have the pleasure of welcoming two outstanding musicians – Vladislav Pesin, the concertmaster of The musicAeterna orchestra (conducted by Theodor Currentzis), and Alexey Goribol, a renowned pianist and Honored Artist of Russia.
They will be performing a program called Fratres ("Brothers"), which includes pieces from the Estonian composer Arvo Pärt, such as his famous work of the same name. Additionally, they will be playing a selection of music from the 20th century, including a Violin Sonata by Veniamin Basner, Five Preludes by Shostakovich from his early work, the famous play by Desyatnikov "Like the old Organ-Grinder", among others.
In short, it will be a rare musical experience. You wouldn't want to miss it!
