Basics of Tourism Course (BTC)-2024

A new academic year has begun, which means that we are opening enrollment for the Basics of Tourism Course (BTC)-2024!
If you've never been on a hike, but really, really want to – the course is for you!
We will teach you:
- packing a backpack
- living in the forest in warmth and comfort
- delicious cooking over a campfire
- navigating the terrain
- providing first aid
- and other hiking skills
Lectures will be held once a week (mostly online), training sessions will be held in the Moscow region on weekends (with or without an overnight stay) once a week or two weeks.
After completing the course, you are expected to pass:
- a test cross-hike on the weekend in early/mid-November;
- an exam to test your knowledge!
What you need to participate:
- Fill out the registration form for the BTC.
- In the Telegram privacy settings, you need to allow adding to channels and groups, without this nothing will work!
- You are beautiful and you will soon be added to the chat channel of the course!
You DON'T have to be a student of the Higher School of Economics or a student in general. We welcome everyone!
